I really loved giving this speech because it offered me the opportunity to speak from a different point of view. Instead of speaking from a “dark” side of my life, i got a chance to show my sense of humor. I told stories about Joe Hibbard, and Steve & Vince Pedro that nobody ever knew. From the time Steve Helped me stay in college, until the time Vince beat me in basketball.
The Boys and Girls Club of Massillon has given me a way to express myself positively through all the turmoil i experienced in my young life. When i was asked to speak at the 80th anniversary, i was honored to do so.
